First, the Vital Role of Oil Harvesting Trees

The wellhead device, affectionately termed the 'oil production tree', stands as an indispensable and ubiquitous tool for oil, gas, and water wells. It is the cornerstone for directing and modulating oil well output. Its primary roles are:

(1) Bearing the weight of all tubing columns while suspending tubing and supporting the well structure;

(2) Sealing the annular space between oil and casing to precisely control casing gas;

(3) Orchestrating the flow and regulation of oil well production;

(4) Managing daily operations such as oil admission, setting pressure metrics, testing, and performing wax removal;

(5) Facilitating seamless underground operations like well washing, sand removal, acidizing, fracturing, and more.

Second, the Types of Oil Harvesting Trees

Oil producing trees are divided into two key categories: the traditional and the modern. The classic oil harvesting trees, reminiscent of the 1960s, include Dalong (modeled after Great Rome), Rongfeng (modeled after Little Rome), and Lianggong (modeled after Su). Meanwhile, the new generation encompasses Daqing 150, Daqing 160 miniature, Sheng 251, Sheng II type, and other innovative designs crafted by China.

Third, the Structure of Oil Extraction Trees

Taking a closer glimpse at the domestic KY65-21 oil production tree, its components feature a casing tee, left and right casing valves, tubing head, tubing tee, general valve, left and right production valves, a test or wax cleaning valve (well sealer), tubing top wire, clamps, steel ring, and an array of other essential accessories.

Fourth, the Connection Methods of Oil Production Trees

Five principal methods are employed in connecting oil trees:

(1) Clamp Connection: Predominantly using clamps for component connections, seen in the Daqing 150II, Sheng 261 micro, Sheng 254, and similar oil production trees;

(2) Thread Connection: Employing threads for connecting components, as in the Daqing 150, Sheng 251, and other oil production trees;

(3) Iron Hoop Connection: Utilizing iron hoops for component connections in trees like Sheng I, Sheng II, and more;

(4) Flange Connection: Using flanges to connect components, typically in oil trees like Shanghai Dalong, Rongfeng, Lianggong, etc.;

(5) Clamp Flange Connection: Combining clamps and flanges for connecting components, found in oil trees such as the original CY250 and others.
