First, the role of oil harvesting trees

A wellhead device, fondly known as an "oil production tree," stands as a pivotal and ubiquitous apparatus for oil, gas, and water wells. It is quintessential for the regulation and control of oil well output. The key functions it performs include:

(1) Supporting the entire weight of the tubing columns while ensuring secure suspension;

(2) Sealing the annular space between the oil and casing to effectively control casing gas;

(3) Mastering the control and regulation of oil well production with precision;

(4) Managing daily operations such as oil admission, setting pressure data, conducting tests, and performing wax cleaning;

(5) Facilitating seamless underground construction operations like well washing, sand washing, acidification, and fracturing.

Second, the type of oil harvesting tree

Oil harvesting trees are categorized into two primary classes: the traditional oil producing trees and their modern counterparts. The traditional trees, like Dalong (imitating Great Rome), Rongfeng (imitating Little Rome), and Lianggong (imitating Su), emerged in the 1960s. On the other hand, the new-age oil production trees, such as Daqing 150, Daqing 160 miniature, Sheng 251, and Sheng II, represent innovative designs crafted by China.

Third, the structure of oil extraction trees

Using the domestic KY65-21 oil production tree as a benchmark, its structure comprises various components including the casing tee, left and right casing valves, tubing head, tubing tee, general valve, left and right production valves, test valve or wax cleaning valve (well sealer), tubing top wire, clamps, steel ring, alongside other essential accessories.

Fourth, the connection method of oil production trees

Oil trees are interconnected through five predominant methods:

(1) Clamp connection: Characterizing connections in oil production trees like Daqing 150II, Sheng 261 micro, and Sheng 254;

(2) Thread connection: Evident in trees like Daqing 150 and Sheng 251, where threaded connections prevail;

(3) Iron hoop connection: Featured in models such as Sheng I and Sheng II, where iron hoops are prominent;

(4) Flange connection: Notable in trees like Shanghai Dalong, Rongfeng, and Lianggong, flaunting flange connections;

(5) Clamp flange connection: Originally designed for models like CY250, employing a combination of clamp and flange for connections.
