Shaffer Double Ram BOP (blowout preventer)
Casting blowout preventers are mainly used for well drilling, and their side doors are equipped with hinge seats,. which enable opening side doors and replacing rams very conveniently. Casting BOP is more cast-effective well drilling and control equipment as your ideal alternative.
The shape of ram is planar square, and the housing body ia cast as a whole, easier to process and control manufacturing costs, simple to maintain, applicable to a wide range, built-in oil circuit, safe and reliable seal.
1) Pressure part is forging, has better strength and impact toughness, can avoid the defects of the casting;
2) Intermediate flange adopts radial floating seal, open and close by hydraulic pressure, changing of ram is fast and convenient;
3) Equipped with tandem booster, compared with traditional ram bop with shearing capacity, the new one is smaller and function of which is constant;
4) Abundant reserve of ram packer, adopts self sealing;
5) Manual locking device is standard configuration, ensure the ram keep closing in case of hydraulic pressure loss;
6) Manual Locking Device, Hydraulic locking Device, and Tandem Booster can be configured at corresponding place according to client's requirements, and its interchange is convenient.
