First, the importance of oil harvesting trees

A wellhead device, often referred to as an 'oil production tree,' stands as a cornerstone in oil, gas, and water well operations. This essential piece of equipment is pivotal in controlling and modulating the production flow of oil wells. Its primary functions encompass:

(1) Supporting the entire weight of the tubing columns during suspension in the well;

(2) Creating a seal in the annular space between oil and casing to efficiently manage casing gases;

(3) Facilitating the precise control and regulation of oil well production outputs;

(4) Overseeing daily operations including oil admission, setting pressure parameters, conducting tests, and wax cleaning;

(5) Ensuring seamless underground operations such as well washing, sand cleaning, acidizing, and fracturing are conducted efficiently.

Traditional oil trees include models like Dalong, Rongfeng, and Lianggong from the 1960s, known for their resemblance to Roman designs. Modern oil trees, such as Daqing 150, Daqing 160 miniature, Sheng 251, and Sheng II, are products of innovative Chinese engineering.

Third, the anatomy of oil extraction trees

Using the domestic KY65-21 oil production tree as a reference, its structure comprises components such as the oil production tree casing tee, left and right casing valves, tubing head, tubing tee, a general valve, left and right production valves, and various accessories like test or wax cleaning valves (well sealers), tubing top wires, clamps, and steel rings.

Fourth, the connectivity options for oil production trees

Oil trees are interconnected through five principal methods:

(1) Clamp connection: Predominantly used in models like Daqing 150II and Sheng 261 micro, where components are linked via clamps;

(2) Thread connection: This method, seen in Daqing 150 and Sheng 251, involves components being joined by threading;

(3) Iron hoop connection: Models such as Sheng I and Sheng II employ this method using iron hoops to secure components;

(4) Flange connection: Common in models like Shanghai Dalong, Rongfeng, and Lianggong, where flanges connect the components;

(5) Clamp flange connection: Used in original designs like CY250, combining both clamp and flange methodologies to connect components.
