First, the purpose of oil production trees in the industry

The wellhead device, often referred to as the 'oil production tree', stands as a crucial and ubiquitous apparatus for oil, gas, and water wells, serving as the principal equipment for managing and controlling oil well outputs. Its essential roles include:

(1) Supporting the entire tubing column weight while suspended within the tubing and bearing the well's structural load;

(2) Sealing the annular space between the oil pipeline and casing to maintain control over casing gas pressures;

(3) Regulating and controlling the yield of oil wells with precision;

(4) Managing daily oil inflow operations, setting pressure parameters, conducting tests, and performing maintenance tasks such as wax removal;

(5) Facilitating uninterrupted underground work activities, including well cleaning, sand clearance, acid treatment, and fracturing.

Second, classifications of oil production trees

Oil production trees can be categorized primarily into two groups: traditional and contemporary models. The traditional category includes such designs as Dalong (Great Rome), Rongfeng (Little Rome), and Lianggong (Su) dating back to the 1960s. Conversely, the modern category comprises of designs like Daqing 150, Daqing 160 miniatures, Sheng 251, and Sheng II, all innovated and produced in China.

Third, the configuration of oil production trees

Taking the KY65-21 oil production tree as an example, its components encompass the casing tee, left and right casing valves, tubing head, tubing tee, main valve, left and right production valves, test or wax removal valve (well sealer), tubing top wire, clamps, steel rings, and other such accessories.

Fourth, methods of connecting oil production trees

There are five predominant methods for connecting components of oil production trees:

(1) Clamp connections: Primarily used in assembling oil production trees like Daqing 150II and Sheng 261 micro;

(2) Thread connections: Widely applied for models like Daqing 150 and Sheng 251;

(3) Iron hoop connections: Common in Sheng I and Sheng II models;

(4) Flange connections: Notably used in legacy models such as Shanghai Dalong, Rongfeng, and Lianggong;

(5) Clamp flange connections: Utilized in original models like CY250.
