First, the role of oil harvesting trees

The wellhead device, often dubbed the 'oil production tree', stands as one of the cornerstone elements in the realm of oil, gas, and water well operations. This vital piece of equipment is indispensable for commanding and fine-tuning oil well production. Its principal responsibilities include:

(1) Bearing the weight of all tubing columns within the suspension tubing and providing robust support to the well;

(2) Sealing the annular space between the oil and casing, thereby controlling casing gas;

(3) Commanding and fine-tuning the production output of oil wells;

(4) Overseeing daily management tasks like admission oil regulation, pressure data setting, testing, and wax cleaning activities;

(5) Facilitating the seamless execution of subterranean operations such as well washing, sand washing, acidification, and fracturing.

Second, the type of oil harvesting tree

Oil production trees can be classified into two primary categories: traditional and modern. The traditional category includes designs like Dalong (modeled after Great Rome), Rongfeng (modeled after Little Rome), and Lianggong (modeled after Su) from the 1960s. On the other hand, modern oil production trees encompass contemporary designs like Daqing 150, Daqing 160 miniature, Sheng 251, Sheng II, and others crafted in China.

Third, the structure of oil extraction trees

Using the domestic KY65-21 oil production tree as an exemplar, the structure comprises various parts such as the casing tee, left and right casing valves, tubing head, tubing tee, general valve, left and right production valve, test or wax cleaning valve (well sealer), tubing top wire, clamp, steel ring, alongside additional accessories.

Fourth, the connection method of oil production trees

Five predominant connection methods exist for oil production trees:

(1) Clamp connection: Predominantly utilized in models such as Daqing 150II, Sheng 261 micro, Sheng 254, where components are secured via clamping;

(2) Thread connection: Seen in models like Daqing 150, Sheng 251, featuring components linked by threading;

(3) Iron hoop connection: Employed in designs such as Sheng I and Sheng II, where components are joined using iron hoops;

(4) Flange connection: Utilized in models like Shanghai Dalong, Rongfeng, and Lianggong, where components are fastened using flanges;

(5) Clamp flange connection: Found in original designs like CY250, where both clamps and flanges are used to secure components.
