The Oil Drill Pipe with API 5dp Specification is a high-quality, durable drill pipe designed for drilling rigs in the oil and gas industry. Manufactured by GPE Oil Machinery Co., Ltd, this drill pipe is made from AISI 4142H-4145H modified drill collar material according to SY/T 5146-1997. It is specifically developed to provide a gradual transition from heavy drill collars to lighter weight drill pipe.
This integral heavy weight drill pipe has a thick-walled construction, which helps prevent stress concentration at the top of the drill collars. It allows for drilling at higher rpms, reducing torque and differential pressure sticking. This makes it ideal for directional drilling, as it simplifies directional control and minimizes connection fatigue problems commonly encountered in high angle or horizontal drilling.
