First, the role of oil harvesting trees

The wellhead device, affectionately known as the "oil production tree," stands as a pivotal piece of equipment across oil, gas, and water wells. It is the cornerstone for managing and orchestrating the flow of an oil well's production. Its critical functions include:

(1) Supporting and suspending the entire tubing column's weight, ensuring the well's structural integrity;

(2) Sealing the annular space between the oil and casing to expertly control casing gas;

(3) Precisely controlling and regulating the production flow from oil wells;

(4) Conducting daily management tasks like setting pressure data, testing, wax cleaning, and overseeing oil admission;

(5) Facilitating the smooth execution of subterranean operations, including well washing, sand washing, acidification, and fracturing.

Second, the type of oil harvesting tree

Oil production trees are classified into two primary categories: the traditional and the contemporary. The traditional variety, reminiscent of the 1960s, includes the Dalong (Great Rome imitation), Rongfeng (Little Rome imitation), and Lianggong (Su imitation). The contemporary production trees, such as Daqing 150, Daqing 160 miniature, Sheng 251, and Sheng II type, are ingeniously crafted and manufactured in China.

Third, the structure of oil extraction trees

Taking the domestic KY65-21 oil production tree as an exemplary model, its structural components include a casing tee, left and right casing valves, tubing head, tubing tee, general valve, left and right production valves, test or wax cleaning valve (also known as well sealer), tubing top wire, clamps, steel rings, and a variety of other essential accessories.

Fourth, the connection method of oil production trees

There are five principal methods to connect oil trees:

(1) Clamp connection: Predominantly clamped, this connection is seen in models such as Daqing 150II, Sheng 261 micro, and Sheng 254 oil production trees;

(2) Thread connection: This method, characterized by threaded connections, is often employed in Daqing 150, Sheng 251, and similar oil production trees;

(3) Iron hoop connection: Utilizing iron hoops for component connections, found in Sheng I, Sheng II, and other such trees;

(4) Flange connection: A flange-based connection often seen in Shanghai Dalong, Rongfeng, Lianggong, and other oil production trees;

(5) Clamp flange connection: A hybrid connection involving both clamp and flange, featured in original CY250 models and other oil production trees.
